YallaMoona is a hyperlocal grocery and household essentials delivery platform built to make everyday shopping faster, easier, and more convenient for customers in Cairo.
Following our initial market launch, our next objective is to expand YallaMoona beyond a localized delivery operation into a larger, integrated Retail & Fulfillment Hub capable of serving multiple areas across Cairo.
The new hub is designed to become the operational heart of YallaMoona. It will provide significantly greater inventory capacity, centralized order preparation and fulfillment, and support for an expanded delivery fleet — allowing us to reach more customers while improving product availability and delivery efficiency.
But our vision goes beyond online delivery.
The location will also operate as a physical retail destination, allowing customers to visit YallaMoona and shop directly from our product range. The concept is planned to include a dedicated food and catering area, as well as a small kids area, creating a more convenient and family-friendly shopping experience.
Our Expansion Strategy
The expansion is designed around several complementary revenue and growth channels: online grocery and household orders through YallaMoona, direct in-store retail sales, expansion into additional delivery zones, increased inventory turnover, and additional opportunities generated through the food and catering section.
Our initial operating model targets approximately 300 daily orders during the first three months, with the objective of scaling toward approximately 800 daily orders as operations and geographic coverage expand.
With an estimated average online order value of approximately EGP 250, the expanded operation is designed to create substantial annual merchandise turnover while using a centralized inventory model to continuously replenish and rotate stock.
Why This Expansion Matters
Instead of operating multiple small locations with limited inventory, YallaMoona aims to establish a larger central hub capable of supporting both digital and physical commerce.
This model gives us the infrastructure to increase inventory availability, improve purchasing power, support additional delivery areas, expand our delivery fleet, serve walk-in customers, and build a scalable foundation for future YallaMoona locations.
Round 1 represents the first major step toward transforming YallaMoona from a localized delivery service into a scalable retail, fulfillment, and last-mile commerce platform.
